Put your jewellery on last after applying perfumes, lotions, and hairspray. Take it off first when you get home. This simple habit prevents buildup of oils and chemicals that can dull the gold's natural lustre over time.
Gently clean your pieces with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear. For a deeper clean, soak in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 15 minutes, then brush softly with a baby toothbrush. Rinse and pat dry.
Store each piece separately in the AURUM pouch or jewellery box to prevent scratching. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use the anti-tarnish strips in your box — replace them every 6 months for best results.
Gold is naturally resistant to tarnish, but chlorine, bleach, and household cleaners can permanently damage the finish. Always remove jewellery before swimming in pools, using cleaning products, or visiting hot springs.
